The Kapuskasing and Area Family Health Team includes a team of family physicians and primary health care providers that provide healthcare services in our community. The Family Health Team includes doctors, nurse practitioners, registered nurses, physiotherapists, and social workers, among others. In addition to traditional healthcare services, family health teams focus on health promotion, illness prevention and chronic disease management.

The Centre de santé communautaire de Kapuskasing et région is a non-profit organization which provides a multitude of primary health care services, illness prevention and promotes healthy lifestyles to targeted clients.

The Centre also offers many community programs as well as the Aging at home program.

Their role is to provide and maintain health care services in French as well as pass on Francophone culture and encourage solidarity among the franco-ontarian minority.
