Arena, and Skating
The arena, known as the Sports Palace or the Kapuskasing Regional Conference Complex, features two skating surfaces and five curling surfaces to allow:
- hockey (KMHA, KWHA, Kapuskasing Flyers)
- curling
- figure skating
- recreational skating
The arena is also a multi-purpose center open to the public to host a variety of activities and events:
- sporting
- leisure
- cultural
- educational
The Sports Palace is wheelchair accessible and offers:
- meeting rooms
- kitchen
- stage
- sound system

Public & Family Skating Schedule
Winter 2025-2026
Public Skating ($4/person) - Starting Saturday October 18, 2025 to March 30, 2026)
- Saturdays - 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm
(Cancelled November 29 and February 28)
**Note that Public Skating will take place from 3 p.m. to 5 p.m. on January 10th, 2026**
- Sundays - 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm
(Cancelled November 30)
Family Skating ($4/person) - Starting Saturday October 18, 2025 to March 29, 2026)
- Saturdays - 11:00 am to 12:00 pm (noon)
(Cancelled November 29, February 28)
Parents & Tots (free admission) - Starting week of October 13, 2025 to March 26, 2026)
- Wednesdays - 10:00 am to 11:00 am
Seniors' Skating (organized by a private group - contact Ed Karpa for membership info 705-335-6873)
- Monday to Friday - 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm
