Airport Facilities The Kapuskasing Airport is located on Highway 11, 1.5 km west of the town. It consists of a 5,500 ft runway, a modern terminal manned by on-site air traffic controllers, hangars with ample room to accommodate private aircrafts and carriers, fuelling amenities, maintenance facilities, customs services and car rental agencies. Bearskin Airlines is Kapuskasing's main air transportation provider. It offers the community several connections to Air Canada. Including a mandatory stop in Timmins, the flight from Kapuskasing to Toronto takes approximately 2.5 hours. Bearskin Airlines also provides daily flights to Sudbury, North Bay, Sault Ste Marie and Thunder Bay.
