The Building and Planning Department is responsible for administering and enforcing the Ontario Building Code Act and Planning Act, Regulations and Municipal By-laws. This ensures that there are standards for building construction and that all buildings are constructed in a safe manner. The Building and Planning Department staff can answer all your questions about construction and renovation projects no matter how big or small. We can help you with all planning matters in regards to buildings and land uses. Hours of operation are from 8:30 a.m. until noon and from 1:00 p.m. until 4:30 p.m. Monday to Friday. Anne Juneau 1.
