Recycling

The town of Kapuskasing is a member of the Cochrane Temiskaming Recycling Waste Management Board. The municipality's recycling facility is located at 181 Brunetville Road. There are several recycling deposit boxes on Brunelle Road, accross from the Sports Palace. Residential curbside recycling is additionally available through independent business operators.

 

Composting

Hours of Operation (May - October):
Monday - 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Wedniesday - 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
Saturday - 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

The compost site is only accessible by the Sports Palace parking lot near the former Lagoon area. Only the following materials are acceptable for this site: branches, tree stumps, leaves, grass clippings, other garden products. No bags or containers are allowed at the compost site.  Products must be emptied in the identified bins. Please do not leave materials at gate.
