Notice to Town Water Consumers


As part of the Ministry of Environment changes to the Ontario Drinking Water Protection Regulations, the Town has prepared a Waterworks' Annual Report for Consumers that provides information on the operation of the system and testing of the drinking water for the period of January through December 2006. Copies of the report are available at the following locations: Civic Centre, Kapuskasing Public Library and Water Treatment Plant.

Relocation of Recycling Bins


Residents are advise that all blue box recycling bins have been relocated across from the Sports Palace (80 Brunelle Road North). The recycling bins are to be used only for recycled material and not for garbage, rubbish or refuse. Effective immediately, the Municipality will commence enforcing By-Law No. 1485 at the recycling bins site for placing garbage. Any resident whose litter is found at the recycling bin site will be fined $300.
