There are more than 200 established stores and businesses in Kapuskasing. These are mostly located in five commercial sectors: Circle Street, Model City Mall, Ash Place, East End and Government Road. Circle Street Circle Street is designed in a circular pattern where numerous specialty shops, restaurants, banking facilities and many other service industries are located around a picturesque cobblestone water fountain and seating area. Ample on-street parking is also available. Model City Mall The Model City Mall is the jewel of the community due to its size and convenience. The enclosed mall features department stores, grocery stores, drug stores, dozens of specialty shops, restaurants, government and private offices. Ample parking is also available. Adjacent to the mall is another spacious grocery store. Ash Place Ash Place, located across from the Model City Mall, is the home of many professional services such as a legal clinic, an optometrist office and an accounting firm. East End Several other restaurants, specialty shops and services are situated in the East End business sector, just a few minutes of walk from the scenic Riverside Park. Government Road Businesses on Government Road take advantage of the traffic flow along Highway 11. From Wal-Mart to vehicle dealerships, restaurants, motels, snowmobiles and ATV dealerships, there is an abundant selection of shops. |
