What is a Community Improvement Plan (CIP)?
A Community Improvement Plan (CIP) is a planning and economic development tool that helps guide how a municipality supports revitalization, redevelopment and long-term investment in the community.
Through a CIP, the Town can identify priority areas and establish programs, policies and potential incentives to encourage improvements such as downtown revitalization, housing development, enhancements to public spaces and overall economic growth.
A CIP provides a clear framework to help shape the future of Kapuskasing by supporting community vitality, attracting investment and enhancing the quality of life for residents.

This is an opportunity to provide input on priorities such as downtown revitalization, housing, public spaces and economic development. Your feedback will help shape the direction of the CIP and the future of our community.

The Town of Kapuskasing invites residents to participate in a photo contest as part of the Community Improvement Plan (CIP).
We are looking for photos that showcase what makes Kapuskasing unique - places you love, areas with potential for improvement and spaces that reflect community pride, culture and everyday life.
Your photos will help identify priorities and opportunities for revitalization, redevelopment and future investment in our community.
