Parks and Playgrounds

Riverside Park is the most popular park and playground in Kapuskasing.

With its large play structure and splash pad, hundreds of kids and their families gather here daily in the summer months to spend their energy climbing, running and splashing around! A favourite amongst the young ones, it features colourful fountains and water sprinklers, as well as changing rooms and washrooms.

The water park provides a refreshing solution to those hot summer days. Good luck trying to get the kids to leave!

Featuring a wheelchair accessible ramp, Dominion Playground hosts Kapuskasing's first accessible play structure.

The new playground equipment is deemed accessible for a few reasons: it has a ramp, a few transfer stations, and an engineered wood fiber surface.

Located in the Val Albert neighbourhood, the Montcalm playground is the closest one for residents and children residing in the eastern part of Kapuskasing.

Situated across the street from the Travelodge, this small playground is mainly frequented by the hotel's guests. Features a brand new play structure.

Situated in the West Riverside neighbourhood (access via Bonnieview Road), this residential playground offers classic play structures for the local kids, in a beautiful tree-lined setting. Located a few hundred feet from the Kapuskasing River Boat Launch.
