Kapuskasing Public Cemetery - Licensed by the BAO, Cemetery Operator Licence # OP-3265245 licensed under the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002 (FBCSA)

The Kapuskasing Interment Cemetery was established in 1914, during World War I. This cemetery is a burial site for internees, prisoners and civilians who were associated with the Kapuskasing's Internment/Prisoner-of-War Camp. This newly restored and renovated Internment cemetery stands as a permanent reminder of the injustice of internment in Canadian history.

This cemetery is located on the south side of Government Road West, east of the Kapuskasing Airport.
