Pay a Bill Online

To register your account, you will need your most recent water/sewer, tax bill or accounts receivable invoice and the PIN found on your bill.

• Once registered, you can view and manage your accounts.

• Please refer to your most recent bill for the account balance.
• We accept VISA or MasterCard.
• A service fee is applied by the service provider, Paymentus Corporation.
• You will be redirected to our service provider to make your payment.
• If you are making a payment after the bill due date, your payment will be subject to a late payment penalty.

Why is there a convenience fee & how much is it?

• The convenience fee is 2.5% of the total payment for both property taxes and utility payments.
• The convenience fee only applies when processing your credit card payment online.  The convenience fee is added to help cover the processing fees that the credit card company charges.  Therefore, to be fair to all customers, we have to ensure that the users of the credit card service pay for this service.
• Please note that there are other low or no-cost means of paying your bill with the Town of Kapuskasing.  These include, pre-authorized payments, equal payment plans, mailing a cheque or paying in-person at the Civic Centre (88 Riverside Drive) or placing a payment in our outside drop box.

To pay a parking ticket online, you must have the following information:

• Ticket Number
• Vehicle License Plate Number
• VISA or MasterCard, including the three-digit security code

A convenience fee will be applied by the online payment service provider.

Please note:

• Tickets will be available for online payment on the date that it is issued.
• Overdue payments cannot be processed online.
• Each ticket must be entered separately.

By Mail

Enclose payment in an envelope, affix sufficient postage and mail. Please allow sufficient time for payment to be delivered. DO NOT MAIL CASH. When you mail your payment, you assume the consequences if for any reason the payment is not received in our office by the due date.

In Person

Payable at the Civic Centre, between 8:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. (Monday to Friday). Cash, Cheque, Money Order, Credit or Debit Card only. OR Use the mail drop box at the Civic Centre entrance during or after business hours.

Cheques and Money Orders: Payable to the Corporation of the Town of Kapuskasing

Note: Dishonoured cheques will be subject to an administrative charge.

For Parking Tickets: Remember to Write the number of the parking ticket on the front of your cheque or money order and make payable to: Corporation of the Town of Kapuskasing.

NOTICE TO ONTARIO MOTORIST: Failure to pay the fine imposed will result in an order that your Ontario vehicle permit will not be renewed and that no new permit will be issued to you until all administrative penalties have been paid.
